According to Destin sources, Usher may have skipped out on a wedding in the Hamptons and opted for Destin. Who knows? Here's the latest by by Celeb News by E:
Our sources tell us that the couple are planning an upcoming beach themed wedding in the Destin, Florida area and that they are in negotiations with Emerald Coast Brides Magazine to exclusively cover the event. When contacted, the parent company Pro-Media Group, Inc. of Oxford, Al and it's Editor-in-Chief, Will Estell stated, "We can neither confirm nor deny any media negotiations that may still be taking place. I can say however, that if Usher does choose to get married on the Emerald Coast we would certainly be the publication that he would turn to to cover the festivities".
Great reporting! Found you on google when we heard about the Destin Florida connection to Usher. Sometimes the "ear on the street" locally is the best source for finding out things first.

Here is the scoop. Our sources have confirmed that Usher's publicist at W & W Public Relations has confirmed that "Yes" her client is in the process of planning a wedding on the Emerald Coast but that the details and date are going to be kept underwrap, furthermore Patti has stated, "All service providers who are being called upon to help in putting together the event are under strict confidentiality agreements and should not be asked to comment on the private matters of the ceremony or events", a spokesperson for W & W also states that, "the wedding publication that has negotiated for the rights to the wedding and all associated events will also be keeping the details from disclosure until such time as a formal announcement is to be made."

Hey, I see you have the BIG NEWS posted locally also. Just did a google search for Usher Destin Wedding and got to your site.
Hot news for your area. I love it there myself and hope to convice VH1, our parent company, to try and make the show. Hopefully Pro-Media Group will share a little of the action with us also and realize that the publicity will help their magazines and your entire area once the National media carries it on a large scale.

We all get to live in a place that people who could go anywhere in the world choose to come to. How awesome!
I heard through the grape vine that 654 limo is in talks with the couple to provide the transportation for the wedding and the other celebs that attend - a buddy of mine works there and confirmed that they had a call about it from Usher's group.

Must be happening. We got a call yesterday from Ushers people about providing tents for the event. Have not tied down any deals yet though. I have also heard that Nicole Richie and her new man are looking at Destin for their upcoming wedding and we know that her father, Lionel has a condo here, so it looks exciting for our area.

We have also heard about this and word has it that it is set to happen in about three weeks. We have heard that the hotel here has already taken lots of reservations from some A listers who will be attending.
With the way this couple have been going we just hope it doesn't get called off...oh, and that we get to do their hair!
