Destin's October 5-7 Seafood Festival Top 20 Event

The 29th Annual Destin Seafood Festival sponsored by Legendary, Inc., was announced as one of the Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events for October 2007.

“Early on Southeast Tourism Society recognized the unique, diverse and unparalleled events in the region, and in 1985, began the Top 20 Events Program. This program sought to bring more publicity and widespread recognition to the best events the Southeast has to offer,” according to the organization’s website http://www.EscapeToTheSoutheast.com.

Top 20 Events receive extensive publication in print media, web, radio, and television throughout the U.S. and Canada.

This year’s festival boasts 10 local seafood restaurants, four headlining acts, great local performers, arts & crafts booths, and a kids’ area.
